Bad day...
I lost at Scrabble online, I decided it's not practical to date someone that lives in Chile, still going bankrupt, might lose a friend, there are too many people in New York, and long day at work....better remedy and go to bed early

Poor little rich kid
I definitely suffer from this syndrome. I mean I'm not really rich, but I think I am and I do make a good amount of money. Today I am so upset that I can't spend $1,200 and go visit my boyfriend in Buenos Aires this weekend. I think this should be no problem, but I definitely don't have the means for this. However, I know too many people that do things like this and thus it starts to seem normal and unfair that I can't do something like this. I have been contemplating for some time now a stripper job to support my lavish lifestyle....family members reading this, you should be concerned. And if you are so concerned that you send money that would be even better!

Charity and Love
Do you notice a common theme?
I went to the big fabulous Happy Hearts Foundation Ball tonight. It was great, I have tried to attach a picture, but there was way too much talking and not enough fun.
I am so in love with my boyfriend Andres from Chile. I talked to him on the way home. So much love, I want a relationship like that to work out or nothing at all. I think I am spoiled.
I stole a bottle of champagne from the party. There were some rich people at my table talking about art and I was just nodding my head, who cares much about art anyway...not me.
Is my blog getting better?

Living large
Woohoo... today my boss invited me to the Happy Hearts Foundation Charity Ball. It should be fabulous. Petra Nemcova is the founder and runs the organization AND she was also at the New York Rangers opening game of the hockey season tonight. It was my first professional hockey game and it was impressive.
I am so excited for my first formal event in New York City! Women have to wear white and/or gold. I went to one other "white party" and it looked very cool to have everyone dressed similarly. The invite is especially great because I am sure my CEO told my boss to invite me because I am "fun" and they are entertaining clients.
It is sure a roller coaster ride in New York, but fortunately right now Life Is Good =)
As Sugarland says...."the bad times pass like the good ones do." I don't need that advice now but I'm sure I will again soon.

Heart Pain and Love (but unrelated)
Bad news: I think the stress of New York is winning the fight right now. I am having chest pains (very often, and very prononunced). I just don't think my body can handle all the stress. Mainly from the job, but also one of my roommates.
Good news: I am in love. My new boyfriend lives in Chile which makes things interesting, but you never know it could work. I met him through mutual friends and he comes to New York rather often for business. He is really fabulous, everything I want....fun, hot, smart, successful, athletic, loves me too, just the right age (much older than me), etc, etc.

Sometimes the mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand
I like this quote. It is from the Carrie Underwood song So Small. When I listen to country music I can always find just the right lyrics to assuage whatever my current stress or concern is. I am hoping this particular quote can apply to my job right now. I am slightly overwhelmed with the amount of stress and although it seems unsurmountable at times I hope it is a mountain that turns into a grain of sand.
I watched the show Californication tonight. It is on showtime, I actually watched 3 episodes. It was really good. Actually I don't know if it was good, but I didn't feel like I was wasting my time watching it because it was definitely shocking. I'm not sure that shows like it should be on tv because watching it makes you start to think the ridiculous things that happen are ok. That level of ridiculous is a little too close to home for me.
Minus the work concerns my life has been pretty fabulous lately. Two weeks ago me and 8 of my friends rented a house in the Hamptons and it was reallly fun. So fun that I came back sick and have been for two weeks, but that is ok. I really liked the Hamptons, it reminded me a lot of Sun Valley, just on the beach instead of in the mountains. Then last weekend we went to Cancun and it was maybe the most fun vacation I have ever been on. (and it was only two days long) We went for the Mexico Traders Convention. Some of our friends were going for work and we just went for fun. The hotel we stayed at was fabulous and there were also two groups of models hanging out and having big lavish parties at the hotel.
Last night we went to The Box again and it is just fabulous.....taking a break tonight.
